Jayson Tatum Struggles, Horford Shines in Celtics Victory

Boston Takes 2-1 Series Lead Over Cavs

The Boston Celtics took a commanding 2-1 lead in their Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Cleveland Cavaliers with a 118-94 victory in Game 3 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Tuesday night.

Jayson Tatum, who had been averaging 27.3 points per game in the playoffs, struggled mightily, going 0-for-12 from the field and finishing with just two points. However, Al Horford stepped up in a big way, scoring 23 points and grabbing 10 rebounds for the Celtics.

The Cavaliers were led by Darius Garland's 24 points, but they couldn't keep up with the Celtics' hot shooting. Boston shot 50.6% from the field, including 15-of-33 from three-point range.

The Celtics will look to take a 3-1 series lead when they host the Cavaliers in Game 4 on Thursday night.
